A Trusted Orthodontist
in St. Joseph
Dr. Matthew Noyce provides trusted orthodontic care backed by advanced training and a strong commitment to service. He completed both his dental degree and orthodontic residency at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he built a foundation in precise, results-driven treatment.
Between his studies, Dr. Noyce served as a Captain in the United States Army for three years, including a deployment to Iraq, where he provided dental care to U.S. troops and detainees. Following his residency, he practiced for nearly five years in Wisconsin before relocating to Missouri, where he now proudly serves the St. Joseph and Maryville communities.
Known for his honest, conservative approach, Dr. Noyce focuses on recommending only what’s necessary to achieve the best possible outcome. Patients can expect thoughtful care, proven experience, and results they can feel confident in at every stage of treatment.
St. Joseph Braces
Braces in St. Joseph are a reliable option for treating more complex alignment and bite concerns. Because they apply steady, consistent pressure, they can often move teeth efficiently and close gaps effectively—sometimes shortening overall treatment time compared to other options.
Braces are also a practical, cost-effective choice. They don’t rely on newer, more advanced technologies that can help keep treatment more affordable while still delivering excellent results.
Traditional braces use metal or ceramic brackets that are securely attached to each tooth and connected by a system of wires and small elastics.
Together, these components gently guide your teeth into better alignment over time, with regular adjustments from the team at Noyce Orthodontics helping keep your progress on track.
St. Joseph Clear Aligners
Clear aligners are a popular alternative to traditional braces for patients in St. Joseph looking for a more discreet way to straighten their teeth. Instead of brackets and wires, this system uses a series of clear, removable trays to gradually guide your smile into alignment.
Each set of aligners is custom-made from smooth, comfortable plastic to fit snugly over your teeth. As your treatment progresses, you’ll switch to a new set of aligners every one to two weeks, as directed by Dr. Noyce, to keep your teeth moving in the right direction.
Consistency is key to success with clear aligners. For the best results, they should be worn 20–22 hours per day throughout treatment. Not wearing them as instructed can slow progress and extend your overall treatment time.
Clear aligners work especially well for many common orthodontic concerns, though more complex cases may require a different approach. A free consultation at Noyce Orthodontics will help determine if clear aligners are the right fit for your smile.
